A tree will fall

Recently this is a saying that have adopted because of one experience with the tree actually falling. I was on my way to pick up dinner from a local Peruvian restaurant and in my path was a tree. It layed regally across 4 lanes and a median. I was not there for the exact moment that it fell but moments after from the scene that was still starting to build. I did not stop to look or assist for a number of reasons. The main one being that I did not have a chainsaw or anything but eyes to assist. In the road app

aren't caught by the falling tree were 2 cars. one headed in the opposite direction of the other. the one that was in the lane facing me the engine was clearly impacted or crushed and the other it APPEARED that it smashed the back half. I saw the woman get out and walk around the car that she was in which was the opposite lane. I didn't know if the person in the car that was in front of me gotten out yet, but it only appears from my vantage point to have crushed the back of the car. I went on my way by turning around and heading out another direction. The tree also fell next to a neighborhood and so I am Sure that someone who witnessed the incident or aftermath called the appropriate authorities. I later found out on the local channel that the tree had killed one person. It struck me in a way that i did not expect. After hearing that someone was driving along minding their business and a fucking tree falls from three lanes over in a narrow tree line and snatched a life. When it is a tree no other reason is needed. I made this a saying for the times in our lives when we are going about our business and not harming anyone, and a tree will fall. I am sure that person had no idea that the tree would be their demise. I wondered did they even know what happened? We often have events and interaction that happen to us without our permission or control and if we survive it not only does the interaction usually change us, but it also makes us more aware that shit like this happens and the best any of us can do is be our best selves at that time (all the time). If you are of a particular belief system, then you know that [person did not have a chance or choice in prepping for their death. IT WAS A TREE The tree is a metaphor for the random crazy and possibly life altering exchange that impacts us. Let's talk about it. Was i clear in the metaphor that i am suggesting?
